Medline Disposable Underpads are widely used in hospitals, home and in the nursing homes, the topmost layer of the Underpads is made up of soft non-woven material for absorbing fluid away from the skin. They are the standard blue colored Underpads. Cellulose fibers make them comfortable and absorbent, and a strong, odor-proof back-sheet holds the fluid completely and lock it from inside. It helps keeping the skin healthy and rash free, and at the same time protecting mattresses and chairs. Medline Disposable Underpads keep your furniture clean and clear They are often referred as “chux,” It basically is a soft toposheet which is created to provide comfort and protection from wetness to all skin type. Just keep the Underpads on any surface you would like to protect from being wet and the waterproof sheet will stop any liquid/ water like substance from passing through. Please be mindful, that these are not designed for protecting full of wetness, they facilitate you for short term, like when treating to a wound or changing an enteral feeding tube. They are not ideal for long-term protection, like using them during a nap. Since they are disposable, you can use and throw them away.
